Emese Morvai’s graduation project

Introduction

My name is Emese Morvai, and I completed the interior design course in October 2024. Interior design is where all my interests come together, allowing me to express my creativity. I enjoy turning my ideas and concepts into tangible forms, which is why I take pleasure in every phase of the design process. During the course, we mastered the use of ARCHLine.XP, and I now use this program for all my projects.

Project description:

For my final project, I was tasked with designing a new home for an art-loving couple working in the film industry, tailored to their specific needs. The design required creating a central display area for their awards and memorabilia, a darkened home cinema, and a guest bedroom and bathroom to accommodate their adult son, who frequently visits with his girlfriend. My goal was to create elegant and luxurious spaces that are simultaneously streamlined and functional. The interior design was executed in an eclectic style, blending elements of modern and glamour aesthetics. This theme runs consistently throughout the home, reflected in the furnishings, custom-made furniture, choice of materials, and color palette.
