ARCHLine.XP CEO Zoltan Toth had been interviewed by BIMobject – the focus was on the company’s quest to be its customers’ go-to platform for BIM transition. A huge step in this journey is the direct link between ARCHLine.XP, the intuitive architectural design softare, and the BIMobject library.
“Our clients are always looking for objects. – Zoltan says – Using manufacturer specific BIM objects both saves time and adds a lot of value. ARCHLine.XP is a very open platform that lets you import and export different file formats, which is perfect for those, who are a bit anxious of becoming ‘isolated’ in one software”, he says. Read the whole interview on the software’s past and ambitious plans here.
The link between ARCHLine.XP and the BIMobject library had been demonstrated during a live webinar on 19 September, with the contribution of BIMobject Sweden. The webinar touched upon some common BIM misconceptions, and showed how BIM elements can be imported from the BIMobject platform to ARCHLine.XP interface for further modification. The recorded show can be watched here.
Another step ARCHLine.XP takes to get its users up to the BIM standards is to show how the program can process external data, and tie it into the BIM workflow. A webinar has just been announced for 10 October 2017 to showcase the file import/export abilities of ARCHLine.XP, and how this helps users to create better designs.
