Monday, 08 June 2020, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia - Faculty of Architecture and Environmental Design (FAED), Geomatika University College (GUC), recently adopt ARCHLine.XP, the Building Information Modeling (BIM) software for teaching and learning activities for Architecture, Interior Design and Landscape Architecture from Cadline Ltd, Budapest, Hungary.
Faculty of architecture and environmental design (FAED) at Geomatika University College (GUC) is a mixture of practical and theoretical studies. Heading up toward industrial revolution 4.0, Geomatika University College (GUC) provide an opportunity for the students to learn how to use design software to create models, drawings, prototypes and structures in one whole package and to make sure the graduates survive and fully equipped skill with the industry needed.
ARCHLine.XP training at Geomatika University College
Therefore, by adopting advanced digital design software to solve design problems and address sustainability issues, we believe ARCHLINE.XP can provide the best digital design tools for the student as a support system for them to able to think logically on how the buildings function and constructed, and then combine them with innovative & creative concepts. Students will spend more time with excitement digital design software in critical thinking on research and project-based design subjects to create aesthetically beautiful design pieces that are sustainable and environmentally friendly that supported by ARCHLINE.XP software.
ARCHLine.XP training at Geomatika University College
Representing Geomatika University are Prof. Sr. Dr. Mohaizi, the founder and President of GUC, Assoc Prof. Khalid Ahmad, Dean, Faculty of architecture and environment design, officially signed a software agreement with Cadline Network Limited and received a total number of 12 Archline.XP education licenses provided by representation, Mr Arthur Gan, Director, Computer Graphic Network (CGN), CADLine Ltd's. Geomatika University College (GUC) is pledge to provide an up to date professional courses and teaching learning tools. In pursuant to the industrial revolution 4.0 and BIM development, the first series of Archline.XP BIM training courses is successfully complete in December 2019 lead by Mr Arthur Gan, representative and Archline.XP BIM Coordinator-CAD Trainer.
The faculty has appointed three experience in design software tools and high talented lecturers in pioneering the implementation of BIM teaching learning in Geomatika University CollegeGUC, and they completed the first series of ARCHLine.XP workshops for architecture and BIM in very short period. The lecturers are now preparing themselves to conduct the first architecture BIM training for students, in early 2020. The ARCHLine.XP is easy to use design software with no rendering time to turn 3D design into modeling form, stunning visualization image, video and walkthrough outcome with visualized it in a real time, simulating material and other environmental feature and effect. With the implementation of Archline.XP and with close collaboration with Cadline Ltd representation in Malaysia, Geomatika University College(GUC) is taking another bold step into the internationalization of Geomatika University College(GUC) programmes. In future, the students of Geomatika University Collegewill adapt ARCHLine as a medium tool in designing as to prepare for working environment and to produce a good design quality to enhance individual skills. This collaboration is give advantages for students to equip with good and competitive skills in order in compete in the job market.
