Berserkers
Berserkers occupy the southwestern part of the game world map, which is called Edan. It is characterized by a forest landscape full of hills and valleys. The main headquarters of the faction is Goliet, which we will reach at the beginning of the game. Berserkers are proud people who respect the law above all else.
Ignadon is the land where the Fort is located, the headquarters of the clerics. The second city under the control of this faction is the City of Dome, located in the western part of Abessa.
Due to the fact that berserkers do not tolerate technology, we will not find items related to any technique in their inventory. They prefer the classic, for a fantasy world, fighting style based on edged weapons and magic. In hand-to-hand combat, they mainly use swords and axes, and bows, as ranged weapons, are their natural complement.
What distinguishes Berserkers from other factions is magic - only they have access to it. In the temple under Kaldrim's care, elex transforms into mana, which allows you to cast spells. Berserkers use magic in combat, thereby increasing their combat power and improving their defense against enemy attacks.
Berserkers follow the rules and do not tolerate technology.
Criminals
Criminals, unlike berserkers, lead a relaxed lifestyle, are not burdened by the law. They live in a sunny and desolate country called Tavar. The main center of the Outlaw community is the fort, where we can find teachers, merchants and many people who will be happy to entrust us with tasks.
To strengthen their attacks, increase defense against enemy attacks, or affect the healing regeneration rate, Outlaws members use boosters. These intoxicants are prepared in craft workshops. Boosters work the same way as potions in most fantasy role-playing games - they give the user temporary bonuses to stats.
During combat, criminals use firearms (such as shotguns) as well as melee weapons. They also often use harpoons in ranged combat. They can also effectively use heavy weapons such as grenades or rocket launchers. If you prefer a more free approach to life, join Outlaws.
Using a glitch that allows you to open locks without finishing the mini-game (tested on PC)
If you don't want to go through the lock-picking mini-game every time, you can use a glitch that allows you to open the chest without the tedious movement of the latches. It is enough to approach the lock and interact with it without trying to open it. Then use quick save (F5 key) and voila! The chest is open, you can pick up its contents.
Attention! Due to the fact that the hacking method described above is probably caused by an error in the game, it is possible that it will be fixed in the patch, which will make it impossible to use it after a while.
